The Conference "Teachers for the Knowledge Society" is the closing conference of a two years EU project: Training the MST Teachers through a Master Program for the Knowledge Society ( organized by P.G. University of Ploiesti, Romania. It is also intended to be a starting point for a series of events dedicated to improve teacher education programs. The conference will be held in Sinaia, Romania (, 17-19 March, 2011.

The accepted papers discuss the following topics:

  • Curriculum for teacher education
  • Meaningful assessment
  • Research partnerships for school improvement
  • Multiple Intelligences: from the theory to the personal teaching experience

Participation at the lectures given by our invited speakers is now open to all of you who are interested in high quality education. Please make sure you register before the 23rd of December. The official language of the conference is English. Romanian-English interpretation is provided during the lectures.
